Your Voice – Cookham Village Design Statement – VDS
The Cookham Parish Council Cookham Village Design Statement (VDS)
Cookham Village Design Statement (VDS) describes the character and setting of Cookham’s three settlements. It provides local guidance to assist those seeking to make changes to their property or land to understand if the proposed change would be sympathetic to the area’s character.
The VDS was prepared by a working group of residents with the sponsorship of Cookham Parish Council and the Cookham Society. The Borough Council provided technical assistance and advice.
The Borough Council resolved to adopt the VDS as a supplementary planning document on 23 May 2013.
The Cookham VDS, and supporting documents, are available to download from the RBWM website, or visit the Parish Council Office or Cookham Library to read a paper version.
