Stonehouse Common

Stonehouse Common is a small piece of land (about a third of an acre) owned and maintained by the Parish Council on the banks of the Thames in the north east of the Parish. It has a lovely view across the river and a bench to enable people to enjoy it. For obvious reasons the Council keeps it open to the public on the basis of its status as common land.

To visit Stonehouse Common:
Go down Stonehouse Lane, taking the left fork at the end, the only vehicular access. It is a single track road without a turning space, so be prepared to do a 3 point turn and some reversing when leaving! There is a single parking space at the entrance to the Common. The Parish Council plans to add a cycle rack on the Common shortly to encourage its use.
