Allotments
Sutton Rd, Alfred Major Rec Ground, and Alleyns Lane Allotments
Allotments are available for residents of Cookham Parish and are located at – Sutton Road (Cookham Village), Alfred Major Recreation Ground (Cookham Rise) and Alleyns Lane (Cookham Dean).
A standard allotment size is 5 poles (125 sq m) but we do have 2.5 and 10 pole plots to offer. There is usually a waiting list for plots but plots do become vacant regularly, so hopefully a resident enquiring about a plot will not have to wait too long.
New tenants are required to sign an Allotment Tenancy Agreement and pay a one-off deposit of £50 to secure the plot.
This deposit is refundable on termination of the tenancy once the plot is inspected and found in good order.
The annual rent is payable in October each year. Currently the price per pole is £8 per annum but will increase to £9 per pole from 1st October 2025.
Please print off a copy of the agreement, read it and complete it, indicating which Allotment site you wish to use.
Then sign and return it to the Parish Council Office.
Please do not detach any pages from the rest of the Tenancy Agreement, a complete copy of the document will be returned to you, once signed by the Clerk of Cookham Parish Council.
