Allotments
Sutton Road, Alfred Major Recreation Ground, and Alleyns Lane Allotments
Allotments are available primarily for residents of Cookham Parish and are located at – Sutton Road (Cookham Village), Alfred Major Recreation Ground (Cookham Rise) and Alleyns Lane (Cookham Dean).
A standard allotment size is 5 poles (125 sq m) but we do have 2.5 and 10 pole plots to offer. There is often a waiting list for plots but they do become available regularly.
Once the plot has been chosen, new tenants are required to sign an Allotment Tenancy Agreement and pay a one-off deposit of £100 to secure it.
This deposit is refundable on termination of the tenancy once the plot is inspected and found in good order.
The annual rent is payable in October each year. Currently the price per pole is £9 per annum increasing to £10 per pole from 1st October 2027.
If you would like an allotment please contact the parish council, office@cookham-pc.gov.uk, who will let you know plot availability on the three sites and arrange a visit.
