Cookham PC and the Planning Process

The Parish Council receives notification of planning applications from the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) Planning Department and have 21 days in which to make their representations.

Members of the public wishing to comment on an application which is before the Parish Council for consideration can send these to office@cookham-pc.gov.uk in time for the appropriate Parish meeting.

The Parish Council Planning Committee meets monthly on a Tuesday evening, in the Community Room, Library Building, High Road, Cookham. Meetings commence at 7.30 pm and start with Open Forum, a 15 minute period when members of the public may speak briefly on a planning application.

Please see the Meetings page of this website for more information and the latest agenda which will list current applications known to us at the time the agenda was posted.

Agendas are also posted on the notice boards five days before each meeting.
The public may view copies of plans electronically at the Council office during opening hours, or on the RBWM website.

Parish Council decisions are then sent back to the RBWM Planning Department to use in their deliberations.
