Cookham Village and Cookham Dean

These are two of the 27 designated conservation areas in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, which can be viewed here.

Cookham Village 2022

The Borough Council has produced an appraisal document for the Cookham Village Conservation Area, which describes the important features and characteristics of the area and will be used when planning decisions are made that affect the area. The approach used follows advice set out in Historic England guidance

Cookham Dean 1998

Cookham Dean Conservation Area was originally designated in 1969 by Berkshire County Council. The Conservation Area Statement was adopted by the Planning and Environment Board of the Borough Council in 1998, in order to describe the character and appearance of the conservation area for use in guiding future planning decisions in the area.
